Time is running out for people to give us their views about the proposals to close some police stations and front counters.
The survey, which can be found at www.getintheloop.co.uk will close tomorrow, 31 August 2011 so anyone who wants to make their voice heard is urged to log on quickly.
We have also made sure that people without IT access don’t miss out. You can write to Lancashire Constabulary before 23 September 2011 at the following address:
Lancashire Constabulary Headquarters - Police Premises
PO Box 77
Hutton
Preston
PR4 5SB
It is important to stress that no decision will be made on the proposals until we have had a chance to review what the public has said. After all, our decisions - no matter how tough - are taken on behalf of, and in the best interests of, the public.
We understand that the proposals concerning the force’s estate are sensitive and are likely to be met with anxiety and it is for this reason we are urging people to take this final opportunity of making their views known.
